Is the City at the river Mulde a water city!?

As we all know, the river Mulde at Eilenburg can still do what it wants and shows to his viewer form its most beautiful side. Especially for fans of the river and boat tourists there is a jetty near the city center and from which one can paddle directly to Bad Düben. The original river with the Bobritzer dam and its tributary stream the Mühlgraben(trans. the mill race), is not the only water attraction. Also bridge friends get their satisfaction. As Eilenburg's center becomes an island through the Mulde and the Mühlgraben, there were and are plenty of bridges here. Since the inauguration of the bypass oft he B87 in 2004, there are proud 37 bridges in and around Eilenburg. Where the city center bridge oft he Mulde with its almost 320m span, is the number one.

For all visitors, who prefer to get really wet, but just to watch the water, there is in Eilenburgs east the gravel lake with leisure and recreation center, beach and water ski station. If you want to swim all year round, the public swimming pool with sauna, numerous offers and events is available.
